Notification from Google Play about Top Free Verified Apps

Hi Developers at Top Free Verified Apps,

We reviewed the developer name for your account and we're unable to accept it because the developer name Top Free Verified Apps violates our metadata policy.

Eligibility issues:

  • False App Ranking
Developer name attempts to claim false app ranking, or developer names that misrepresent their current status or performance on Google Play.

The information in your Store Listing is accessible by all users (signed-in or not) and must be appropriate for all audiences. Inappropriate text, if critical to your developer name, must be censored within the Store Listing (for example, by using asterisks).

Please note that this violation does not affect any of your apps currently available on Google Play. If you submitted an update to your developer name, your previous developer name is still displayed on Google Play.

Action required: Update your developer name

  1. Read through the Metadata policy and adjust your developer name to be appropriate for all audiences.
  2. Make sure your developer name change is compliant with all policies listed in the Developer Policy Center. Remember additional enforcement could occur if there are further policy issues.
  3. Sign in to your Play Console.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Update your developer name and click SAVE.

If you've reviewed our policies and feel this rejection may have been in error, please reach out to our policy support team. One of my colleagues will get back to you within 2 business days.

Thanks for your continued support of Google Play.

Best,

Justin
